Sometimes when I am talking I think of two different words to use for a particular part of a sentence, and if I can’t make up my mind by the time they come up I just combine them. Today at work I was returning a woman’s change to her, but it was just one penny. I couldn’t decide whether or not to say “penny” or “change” so I ended up saying “And here’s your pain.” I feel like the amount of writing I do due to blogging has made this worse, not better.
